This prompts a window to open,
(called 'save new catalogue file' and this is normally the 'My
Documents' folder), which is my choice to to place the folder
where I will be storing my catalogues.
Obviously this can
be anywhere, but for simplicity sake let's keep it
default.
Ideally one should create first a 'folder'
where to store neatly all catalogues done.
To create the
folder at this stage, you can either Click the middle icon at
the top of the little window that opened (the icon on hover
gives a tool tip that says 'create new folder') or, right click
the white empty area inside the 'My Documents' folder, and
choose 'New-Folder'.
You can name new folder anything you
fancy, I named mine 'MY CATALOGUES'.
Then, I opened the Folder called
'MY CATALOGUES' by clicking it and typed the name for my first
catalogue.
Note - I'll close the software here
to show how to Open the Catalogue that has been created in the
next step, but of course you wouldn't have to close the
catalogue and could continue working on it.
